A quote I’m pondering

The earth, from here, is like heaven. It flows with colour. A burst of hopeful colour. When we’re on that planet we look up and think heaven is elsewhere, but here is what the astronauts and cosmonauts sometimes think: maybe all of us born to it have already died and are in an afterlife.

An insight

Abundance is not for you. It’s not about accumulating infinity.

It’s about recognising enough and then sharing, serving, contributing with the excess.

An action I’m taking

The opposite of craving is not the absence of craving. It is the act of savouring. Whether that’s coffee, chocolate, solitude or company. I’m practicing mindfully engaging, immersing and enjoying myself in the action at hand.
