Is this useful to me?
The questions you ask yourself matter. When faced with fear, doubt and frustration, rather than judging those experiences as good or bad, this question might be a better one.
It can help you understand yourself better. And it can help find the kernel of truth in the experience that might show you what you care about or alert you to the very thing you need to focus on right now.
Fear, doubt, frustration, while not always desirable, are all part of what keeps us safe.
An action I’m taking
I’ve been reading Dan Brown’s book Secret of Secrets. It’s a user friendly onramp to the model, ideas and science that are emerging around non-local consciousness.
What is non-local consciousness? Basically the idea that consciousness may not be confined to a specific location or physical substrate, such as the brain or the nervous system.
If this were true, then the implications are profound and the book does a great job of exploring some of it’s potential.
