A quote I’m pondering

Am I being useful or useless?

John Eales – Australian Rugby Union Captain

An insight from conversation

As we clarify the plan for the year ahead, goals are useful, but it has become more and more apparent that everything important is an ongoing practice: relationships, health, work, finances… The work of managing, sustaining and improving these is never complete.

What practices will sustain the most important areas for you?

An action I’m taking

I went for an ocean swim with a client around the rocks at Manly prior to our session. I spotted a boulder lying on the sand below. We took it in turns to dive down, pick up the boulder and run with it along the sandy bottom. It’s a great lung buster and a beautiful shift in perspective to be at eye level with the fish and to see a turtle swimming along, serene.

Is there one of these that really stood out for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions whether that’s a favourite quote or something else.

I hope you have a great week ahead.

With love,

Toby
