A quote I’m pondering

A good plan violently executed now is better than a perfect plan executed next week.

An insight from conversation

I’ve attended three funerals in the last few months. One felt extra poignant last week being on the anniversary of my dad’s death.

While they’re sad occasions, funerals are also useful reminders that at the end of life a person’s accomplishments, the places they visited, the views they saw, all drop quickly out of the picture and the focus moves onto their character and the difference they made to the people around them.

An action I’m taking

I accidentally left my phone in my car last week and had the most productive morning I’ve had in a while. Even though I use do not disturb mode etc, I’m experimenting with more ways to minimise its physical presence when I’m not using it.

Is there one of these that really stood out for you? I’d love to hear your thoughts or suggestions whether that’s a favourite quote or something else.

I hope you have a great week ahead.

With love,

Toby
